Well designed bullet trap does the job

This is a very tough trap as it will stop .357 & 44 magnum ammunition without damage. The back plate is made from AR500 steel and did not dent or bulge from bullet strikes. I have also shot 9mm & 45ACP along with 30-30 rifle, showing no wear to the plate. Being heavy, it will stay in place, but it also has 2 holes for staking to the ground. Lead is retained inside the trap. It is well worth owning.

Came missing the rubber. Called the manufacturer and had it the day after. Just used it today for the 1st time. Took a 308 and 6.5 Creedmoor at 50 and 100 yards perfectly. Was heavy enough that it didn’t move when hit, and foam in the front held up very well. I’ve been shooting for 40 plus years and am an instructor. I’m impressed. Great product.
Overview
This is currently the BEST and most inexpensive Portable Bullet Trap option. It offers a quick, safe setup and deployment. Made of steel for exceptional durability, includes a 3 layer design, with a ballistic rubber panel positioned in front of the steel cage that will slow down the bullets enough to be then stopped completely by the heavy armor steel back-plate. The ballistic rubber front also helps keeping the lead dust inside instead of escaping in the environment. It will also drastically reduces the noise due to bullet impact on the back-plate.
In order to be most effective, reduce even further impact noise and lead dust generation the trap must be filled with rubber mulch (inexpensive and easy to find at most hardware stores)
This is the ONLY trap with removable back-plate that can be replaced, upgraded or removed to retrieve the spent ammo captured.
Must be used used within the general safety guidelines for bullet traps (maintain a safe distance, straight line shooting, stable surface, careful inspection of backplate and overall condition prior to use etc.)
